If you place an order from an affected country/territory, it may be canceled. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to our customers and request your kind understanding.

Iron kettle made in Iwate, home of ironware, with the design of peony flowers. This product is very popular in both Japan and overseas, and often goes out of stock. Nambu ironware is one of the traditional Japanese crafts which is well known for its quality and is also highly popular overseas. Each one of them is carefully made using a traditional method which makes it only one-of-a-kind. The flower languages for peony are "Splendid" "Rich" "Noble" and "Regal Presence". Not only is it functional, it can also be a great decoration in your room.

-Materials: iron
-Size (approx.): W185mm x D155mm x H230mm
-Weight (item only): approx. 1800g
-Weight (including packaging materials): approx. 2050g
-Made in Iwate Prefecture

[When using for the first time]
*After lightly rinsing the inside of the iron kettle, fill 8/10ths with water and boil for approx. 15 minutes.
*At first, hot water will be cloudy and have a metallic taste, so repeat this process for 3 times. When the boiled water becomes colorless, you can use.
*If you do not use for a long period of time, please perform the same task again, even if you have already done so before.
[After Use]
*Remove water inside, then dry and store.
[Please Note]
*Never touch the inner surface of the kettle. Cleaning it with soap or sponges will remove the rust-preventing oxide film and cause rust.
*As this is a hand-made traditional craft, each product may look slightly different.
*Should there be no stock, manufacture will take place after an order placement. Depending on the item, delivery may delay.
